The book entitled natural products' chemistry, contains the papers presented by various eminent personalities, academicians, research scholars and students in their respective field. This book consists 16 chapters in five parts, i.e. Part-I contains three chapters related to synthetic medicinal chemistry, Part-II contains four chapters belong to natural products chemistry, Part-III contains four chapters of pharmacognosy of natural products, Part-IV contains one chapter related to bio-technology of natural products and Part-V contains four chapters related to commercialization of natural products and others.

Dr. Niranjan Das received his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Chemistry from Tripura University (A Central University), West Tripura, India in the year 2002 and 2005, respectively. He has qualified CSIR-UGC NET (LS & JRF category) two times in the year December, 2005 and 2006, respectively. He carried out his Ph. D. work in the field of Natural Products’ Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Biswanath Dinda (Retd.) at Department of Chemistry, Tripura University. He has joined as a Part Time Contact Teacher of Chemistry at MBB College, Agartala in 2007 and after that he moved in April, 2008 as an Assistant Professor to Department of Chemistry, Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya, Udaipur, Gomati, Tripura. His Ph.D. research focused on ‘Isolation, characterization and pharmacological activity studies of phytochemicals from plant kingdom’. His current research interest is in the field of Natural Products Chemistry mainly isolation, characterization, bio-activity study, Semi synthesis and Synthesis of Natural Products. He has already published eighteen scientific research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals. He has been serving as a Reviewer of some international reputed journals.
